I was really looking forward to my stay at this hotel because of its beautiful facade, but unfortunately, the experience fell short in several areas. The public spaces were stunning, but the room was a big letdown with outdated furnishings and a less-than-pleasant smell. The staff was friendly enough, but service was lacking overall. The location is a definite plus, as it is close to the beach, but I can't say I would revisit.

Rooms

The room had two single beds pushed together and needed a good repaint. The bathroom had visible stains and overall it felt poorly maintained.
Service

The staff seemed overwhelmed and unhelpful, especially when I needed assistance with noise issues during the stay.

6.8/10

My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. While the cleanliness of the room and the polite demeanor of the staff were impressive, the overall condition of the hotel was disappointing, especially given the price we paid. The dining experience could also use improvement, particularly with the limited options available. There were some unique aspects like the historical architecture that added character, but the outdated facilities felt like a drawback.

Rooms
The room I stayed in was clean, but it felt old and quite cramped. It had a certain charm, but definitely in need of modernization. Rating: 6/10
Service
Service was a mixed bag. While staff were generally polite, I encountered some issues with responsiveness that left me feeling dissatisfied. Rating: 5/10
Location
The hotel is situated near the beach, which is a definite perk for seaside lovers. However, the area around could be better maintained. Rating: 7/10
Dining
The dining options were quite limited, especially in terms of fresh food and variety. It felt more like an afterthought than a highlight of the stay. Rating: 4/10
Facilities
The facilities appeared well-used. The pool area looked inviting but access came with extra charges, which was frustrating. Rating: 5/10

This hotel has certainly seen better days. While the location is decent and the staff was mostly polite, the state of the rooms and overall facilities left much to be desired. The dining options were also disappointing, which adds to the overall unease of the stay. If you're looking for a relaxing retreat, I'd suggest looking elsewhere.

Location

The location is fairly close to the beach but not in a very appealing area. It felt a bit run-down.
Dining

The dining experience was lackluster with limited options and quality. Breakfast was not included in our stay, which felt like an oversight.
Facilities

My stay at this hotel was mixed. While the spa facilities were quite enjoyable and added to my overall relaxation, the room was a bit small and overpriced, considering the issues I encountered. Unfortunately, I faced challenges with the service, from payment confusion at check-in to unhelpful staff regarding room upgrades. The dining experience was decent, but not exceptional.

Rooms
5.0
The room was small and not ideal for the price I paid; I expected more space, especially since I was traveling with my dog.
Service

The service was lacking, particularly during check-in, where the staff seemed disinterested and unhelpful.
Location

The hotel is conveniently located near the beach, making it a lovely spot for seaside activities.
Dining

6.4/10

The hotel seems to have lost some of its former glory, with worn furnishings and an uncomfortable atmosphere in some areas. The pool was a highlight, but the dining experience and overall service left something to be desired. Given the history of the place, I expected more in terms of maintenance and attention to detail, especially at the price point. The convenient location near the beach is definitely a plus, but there are several areas for improvement.

Rooms
6.0
The room had a great size, but it was quite hot during my stay and not cleaned thoroughly. The furnishings were very worn.
Service

While the staff tried their best under challenging conditions, I encountered several issues with service efficiency and management response.

Dining

The buffet dinner was just okay, and breakfast was adequate but not extraordinary. I felt it didn't match the hotel's historic charm.
Facilities

The pool was a nice feature, but the additional charges for using spa facilities were disappointing.
